Hello and welcome to StuCoulson.com!

As you may have already guessed my name is Stuart Coulson and this is my website. For those who don't know me, I am 24 years old and come from a tiny village called Blanchland on the Northumberland / Durham border. From a very young age I have been fascinated by computers and computer games. As such they have greatly influenced my interests and my career choices.

I graduated with an integrated Master's degree in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from York University in 2006 and proceeded to do web development work.  However I decided to move on and I am now currently studying towards a second Master's degree at the University of Abertay Dundee in the specialised field of Computer Games Technology. My motivation behind this is that I hope to find employment within the games industry, preferably as an AI programmer as this is my main area of interest.

I have set up this website mainly as an on-line portfolio so potential employers and anyone else who is interested can see what I have previously worked on. However I also hope to keep it up to date with information on current projects and game related activities. I also aim to maintain a set of links to sites I find, that may be useful to others who are attempting to get into the games industry like myself.
